Exotic yet ordinary

These are the last few minutes of the last day of my 28th year. When I wake up in the morning, I'll be twenty-nine. Two. Nine. The absolute end of my twenties. The age that I will refuse to write in all capital letters or say any louder than a barely audible whisper (at least for the first month or so) because doing othewise would give it too much power. Twenty-nine.

So, yeah. Tomorrow I'll be a year older. But on the up side, there will be a present or two and food! food makes everything better! so, that should help me ease into year *whisper* twenty-nine.

He's already started working on next year's card. I imagine it will mention something about love. And humping.
